Last Minute Brainstorm

Ok my blog has been pretty, dead, but I have been actually thinking about my SRP when I simply got bored on the bus ride home after skimming through the mX.

A SRP that involved studying the planets the stars sounded enticing with a telescope lying around at home. But my hopes were banished after Ms. Zhang told me there was nothing i could really do with it.

I also thought seeing if certain foods provoked dreams. I have always been curious about this topic when i stumbled across a episode of Can We Help? where a viewer asked the guest the same question. From what I can remember very few studies have been done on this topic but reasearches in london did do an experiment where they looked to see if different types of cheeses gave people different dreams. I don't remember the results but one type of cheese gave pleasent dreams. while another made people experience wild surreal dreams. Then I came to the dilemma. How would I study this, I'd prob have to closely follow their sleeping patterns too and as my friend pointed out alot of people don't remember their dreams when they wake up!

Oceanography sounded interesting, but none of the experiments were intriguing for me.

The problem im having of finding a project, is that I really want to do an experiment with findings I'm actually intersted in. Most projects I see are quite boring.

After a an hour of so, of hopping from one great high school experiment project ides! website to another. I gave up and asked my friend sarah to help me. We brainstormed together and we came up with something!

PAPER PLANES

Sounds pretty good. Try out different plane designs, different materials, whether they fly for longer with a weight on the nose.

I'd probably have to do this experiment indoors, to elimate the factor of wind. Maybe I could add a fan into the mix. See if some go further with wing propelling the forward.

It doesn't sound to hard to me, I hope its not too easy.

Over and out,
