After reciving an appaling mark for my blog I have woken up and realised that this SRP needs to be better.
These school holidays seem like the best time to get started.
I'm sticking with my paper planes idea.
I am currently reasearching designs. Here are a few websites that look good:
http://www.paperairplanes.co.uk/planes.php
http://www.paperplane.org/Patterns/sample.html - this is a design that involves paper clips
http://www.bestpaperairplanes.com/
I have decided to try out as many designs as possible minimum of 20
All designs will have to be made out of A4 paper
I will first test their flight length indoors to illiminate the interfering factor of wind.
I will mark their flight as from the area the first touched ground
I will then test their flight out doors, I will do all designs on one day to try to have similar physical environment.
I will fly them five times, recording how long they were airborne and how far they flew.
I will use a measuring tape to measure the distance
I will use masking tape to mark the starting point, a line I must stand on when I throw the plane, and use marking tape to mark where the plane first touched down.
Will get started on making designs soon,
over and out,
Emma
